NOTD- Blue Ombre

My second attempt at ombre nails worked out a lot better than the first, I brought a huge bag of make up sponges from a pound shop and after painting on the lighter blue I gradually sponged on the darker blue making it darker towards the tips I tried a bit of glitter on the thumbs but I don't really like it. These are the polishes I used:

Barry M-
 Blue Moon
Blueberry Ice Cream
Blue Glitter
Models Own Top Coat

  1. No no, I love ombre nails - why don't you like it? It looks fab! Love the Blue Moon colour as well :) I have that one too, just wish it was a bit more opaque! I find the bottle was a bit deceiving about the polish's consistency.

    1. I like the ombre I just don't like the glitter on the thumb and it is very sheer but as I used a darker colour on the tips I only did two coats of it here but if you want to wear it on its own you should try painting a white coat on your nails first as it works well with sheer pastel colours and means you don't have to pile on loads of coats to make it opaque.

  3. This looks brilliant! I love the colours you've chosen - they remind me of a gorgeous beach in a hot country, haha. Could you do a more in-depth tutorial of some sort? I'd love to know how you did it x
