Feature Friday: November Empties

So I thought I used up a lot of products in last months empties post but this month I've used up a mountain of products including a lot of my favourite products.

Lush Big Shampoo-
I absolutely love this and it has lasted so long I bought it in the spring and only finished it a couple of weeks ago, you can read my full review of it here (excuse the lack of pictures they got deleted somehow) I do find it can be a little bit drying so I don't use it more than once or twice a week hence why it's lasted so long.
Would I repurchase- I already have.

Soap & Glory Mist You Madly-
I really like the sweet scent of this but I wish it lasted a bit longer on the skin.
Would I repurchase- Yep I've already replaced it.

Herbal Essences Split End Remedy Conditioner-
I did a little review of this in my September favourites, which you can read here, and I still love it obviously it's not the best conditioner in the world but I think it's great value for money.
Would I repurchase- I already have another bottle.

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish-
I bought this quite near the start of the year and have kept it at Pete's which is why it's lasted so long but the tube is pretty huge, I do like this quite a lot and it smells lovely but it doesn't leave my skin feeling as lovely and soft as Soap & Glory's body scrub's do.
Would I repurchase- It's a bit pricey at £10 a tube and I do prefer Soap & Glory's scrubs so I don't think I'll be repurchasing this.

Radox Muscle Soak Bubble Bath-
There is always a bottle of Radox in my empties post because I love my bubble baths and Radox is super cheap.
Would I repurchase- Yep.

Marc Jacobs Lola Shower Gel-
I got this as part of a gift set at Christmas and left it lying in my draws until a few months ago, it smells exactly the same as the perfume but the scent is a little weak and doesn't really last well on the skin but it was quite softening.
Would I repurchase- No as it was part of a gift set.

Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser-
This lasted absolutely agessss and unfortunately I really didn't like it but I don't like throwing things away so I used it all up, there is nothing particularly wrong with this but it didn't suit my skin at all for a light moisturiser it was still too heavy for my skin.
Would I repurchase- Nope.

Simple Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash-
I managed to use this up pretty quickly and I can't say I was impressed, the texture was quite gritty but it didn't feel very scrubby when I was using it and my skin didn't feel all that cleansed after using it.
Would I repurchase- Definitely not.

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter-
This lasted me months and I love the scent but I started to get a little sick of it as it reached near the bottom of the tub and it's definitely more of summer product to me, you can read a review of this here.
Would I repurchase- Yes in the summer.

The Body Shop Chocomania Body Butter-
This scent is much more winter worthy to me it's all warm and cosy, this one didn't last me very long because I love the smell and used it a lot so I'm quite sad that it's finished.
Would I repurchase- yes definitely but I have a few other butters to use first.

Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream Mini-
I love love love this and I've talked about it on here before so I won't waffle on but I reviewed it here if you fancy a read.
Would I repurchase- I may have to treat myself to this when I get paid or maybe I'll ask santa to bring me a pot.

Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion Mini-
I really like this too and it leaves my skin feeling very soft but it is a little pricey compared to my Lush toner and I think they pretty much do the same for my skin.
Would I repurchase- As a treat yes but it won't be joining my routine.

Lush Ocean Salt Cleanser-
This was my favourite cleanser for the spring and summertime but I have found it a little bit harsh on my skin now the weathers turned frosty you can read my full review of it here.
Would I repurchase- I will definitely repurchase this but not until the spring I think.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel-
I think most Lush fans will agree that is one of the best Christmas products and this one was actually from last year as I was saving it for the winter, the scent is amazing and it leaves my skin really soft and sweet smelling.
Would I repurchase-I already have and I will be stocking up before they disappear.

Lush Aqua Miribalis Body Butter-
I loved this so much it was way better than King Of Skin and the smell is incredible, it lasted well and was the perfect mix between a butter and a scrub I literally cannot fault it.
Would I repurchase- Yes definitely but I want to try You Snap The Whip first and I have a Sandy Santa Scrub to use too.

Soap & Glory Flake Away Travel Size-
I loved Scrub 'Em And Leave 'Em and didn't think I would find a better scrub but this is fantastic, the first couple of times I used it I wasn't too fussed by it but the more I've used it the more I loved it, it is sooooo moisturuising and my skin feels fantastic after a shower with this.
Would I repurchase- I've already started on my second pot and I will definitely buy a full size in the future.

Lush And Origins Samples

So as I'm sure a lot of you will agree blogging can be a little hard on your bank balance and I find myself shelling out on new products I've read about to find out they don't suit me or are ok but definitely not worth the money so I've been on a bit of a mission lately to get my hands on as many samples as I can, to try and stop me buying things that end up abandoned at the bottom of my draws and also it gives me the chance to review lots of new things.
So when I was in Boots Christmas shopping and the lovely Origins lady started talking to me and offered me three samples of my choice I was delighted (as you can see I only got two I let my mom have one of them) I went for an eye cream and a cleanser and can't wait to try them and post reviews.
Lush are always great for samples and I have been dying to try more of their hair treatments so I had a good long natter with the lovely ladies in my local Lush and got a really big sample of Marilyn, a sample of Curly Wurly and a sample of the Dark Angels Cleanser which I've been meaning to try and I popped in the Birmingham store to get a bubble bar and also asked for a sample of the Jasmine and Henna Fluff Eaze which smells vile but I'm hoping it will sort out my hair as it gets a little frizzy in the cold damp months.
I also read that you can get Lush samples with your online orders by asking for them in the box that says note for packing staff so on my last order I wrote a little polite plea for a couple of samples so I'm waiting to see if they send any and I will be posting reviews of all my Lush samples as soon as I've tried them.

NOTD: Confetti Time

Last week I popped into H&M and spotted this absolute gem of a nail polish called Confetti Time and it is absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for the party season. When you first look at it it looks like a mainly gold glitter polish with big bits of hexagonal gold glitter mixed with smaller pink and blue bits of glitter but there is also a base glitter mix beneath this with tiny bits of silver glitter and very pale pearly white bits of glitter and also small dark blue bits of glitter. I've been wearing quite a lot of dark polishes recently so I decided to wear the glitter over my Models Own Pastel Pink as I don't wear it very often and it's a lovely pale pink which lets the glitter stand out and makes the glitter look even more girly.
