OOTD: Pretty Vacant

I wore:
T-shirt- Ebay
Spike Collared Shirt- Glamourous
Watch- River Island
Jeans- H&M
Creepers- Boohoo

I was lucky enough not to be working in Bank Holiday Monday so I took the opportunity to take some outfit photos, I didn't go anywhere interesting but I've been living in this t-shirt and I thought I'd make it a little more interesting with the spiked collar.

NOTD: Models Own Aqua Splash

I have to say I was a little disappointed with this, I painted it over Barry M in Blue Moon as I thought the the blue shade of the glitter would be a little more vivid but it was very pale, I think when I try the other shades I'll try them over darker shades as it may make the pretty sea themed shades show up a little better. The glitter pay off was less than I would have liked and to get the coverage shown I had to apply at least three coats of Aqua Splash to each nail. Although I was a little disappointed with this shade I am still looking forward to trying the other shades in the Splash Collection.

100 Day No Spending Update Week 10 & 11

Week 10
I was really bad in week 10 it was Mega Week at Debenhams so there was 20% off pretty much everything and coupled with my staff discount I couldn't resist making a couple of naughty purchase, so here are my epic failings from week 10.
Duvet Cover-  about £20.00
Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator- about £6.00
Paco Rabanne Lady Million 30ml- about £26.00

I bought this Lip Balm from The Body Shop for £3.00 as my lips were getting really dry and sore at work, I don't feel too guilty about this as it's something I'll use everyday at work.

This is the first Lush bath product I've bought since starting my ban and I'm a little annoyed that I caved but I had a hideous 9 hour shift and really wanted a nice Karma bubble bath.

I fully intended to wait until after my ban to buy the Models Own Splash Collection but all Models Own products were on 3 for 2 in Boots so it ended up being cheaper to buy the collection along with the Nail Art Pen in store than it would have been to buy them online in a few weeks.

So as you can see it was a pretty bad week in terms of my ban but I'm hoping to get back on track for the last few weeks.

Week 11
After week 10's epic failings I was really good last week and didn't buy anything at all, I did sign up for Graze box but as the first box is free I won't have to pay until I get my second box and the main reason I've signed up is to stop me snacking on crap at work as it's getting expensive and making me feel like crap.
I only have a few more weeks left so I'm determined to be really good for the next few weeks.

Mallzee Launch And Review

You may remember back in August I wrote about a new shopping site called Mallzee which aims to make online shopping social, you can add your favourite shops to your online 'Mall', create polls and get your friends to vote on whether you should buy the item.
Well the site just launched and Mallzee contacted me and asked me if I would like to write a little review of the site, I've been playing around with it and it has lots of great features so I'll tell you a little about the main features of Mallzee:

This is your 'Mall', I've already added a few shops to mine including Miss Selfridge, Asos, Urban Outfitters and Motel, before you add your shops you take a little test where you choose to like or dislike a selection of clothes and based off your choices Mallzee shows you similar items from your chosen stores. As you can see on the left side of your mall you can look for different clothing items using the filter.

When you find an item you like you have a range of different options, you can buy the item, view more information on the stores own website, add it to your wardrobe, add it to a poll and ask your Mallzee friends about it, recommend it to your friends or share it on Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest. Once your items are stored in your wardrobe Mallzee will offer suggestions for items to wear with it, I think this is one of my favourite features of the site.

The site is very new but I've been really enjoying using it so far, it's so easy to navigate and being able to create my own virtual wardrobe really appeals to me as I'm constantly browsing online shops and bookmarking different clothes.
Another key feature of the site are the Mallzee Dollars which aim to reward you for using Mallzee, you can earn Mallzee Dollars by inviting friends to join and through making a purchase through Mallzee you can then use your Mallzee Dollars to gain access to exclusive discounts, offers and clothes for free.

The only problem I'm having with the site is that I signed up using my blogs Facebook account so I currently have no friends added to my 'Mall' but Mallzee have very kindly offered to give VIP accounts to anyone who joins through the link in this blog post, VIP members will be the first to gain access to new features in the future with the possibility of having their Mallzee showcased in the future.

You can join by clicking the Mallzee logo above and if you do decide to join you can add me using my e-mail address:

*I was asked by Mallzee to write an honest review of the site, I was not paid to write this review and I have given my honest opinion.

Review: Lush Dorothy Bubble Bar

Lush Dorothy Bubble Bar

I bought Dorothy at the same time as The Sunnyside Bubble Bar I reviewed a little while ago and I wasn't expecting too much from it as it looked a little dull next to the incredibly glittery Sunnyside but I actually ended up really liking it.
To start with the design is adorable and when I used it the first time I used just part of the blue bit so the water turned a nice pale blue, but when I used the rainbow with some blue bits the water ended up a darkish grey which wasn't overly pretty, this doesn't really bother me a lot as I like to have enough bubbles to cover most of the water anyway.
The scent is a light floral smell that's sweet and quite subtle compared to some of Lush's more stand out fragrances, it's great for a relaxing after work bath with a glass of wine and a good book.
I really liked Dorothy, a lot more than Sunnyside and I can see myself buying it again as it's pretty cheap but like I said in my Sunnyside review if I had to choose a bubble bar for under £3.00 I'd still go for Karma.

Review: Sanctuary Polishing Hot Cloth Cleanser

Sanctuary Hot Cloth Cleanser

I bought this quite a while ago but I've only recently started using it, having heard everyone raving about the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish I'd been wanting to try a hot cloth cleanser and as Debenhams were having one of thier many sales I picked up this Sanctuary one.
After a nice hot bath I place the cloth in hot water and place it over my face for 30 seconds then massage the cleanser onto my face before using the wet cloth in circular motions over my skin to polish away the cleanser and leave my skin super soft.
The cleanser is very creamy but doesn't feel too heavy so it comes off very easily and quickly, I'm not overly keen on the smell but it's not too strong so it doesn't put me off it. The cloth is great for me as it's slightly abrasive so it exfoliates and removes all traces of the cleanser, I'm not sure how well it would remove make-up as I always remove my make-up before going in the bath but my skin felt very clean after I'd finished and my skin tone looked a little more even which is great as I've been getting some red patches in certain areas.
I probably wouldn't recommend this for people with dry or sensitive skin as the cloth would probably be too harsh and even my combination skin feels quite tight after I've used this but as soon as I've applied my moisturiser my skin feels really soft and refreshed.
I've been using it about twice a week and really love how it leaves my skin so I'll probably buy this again when it runs out which should take a while as the tube is pretty big and a grape sized blob is more than enough for each use

Sunday Summary

Went out for lunch, The Carrot Re-usable bubble bar, Mini Cornetto for breakfast, Epic lunch break in Druckers, Macarons, Fuel.

This week has been really exhausting I've had loads of overtime at work due to it being mega week in Debenhams so there was 25% off everything in my department and people went nuts it was nearly as bad as Christmas. Yesterday I worked from 7am until half 4 so by the time I got home I was too tired to post my 100 day challenge so I'll post it next saturday, I'm not sure if I'll get much chance to blog this week as I have even more overtime and am in work everyday until Sunday but I'm hoping to post a couple of reviews.
