Origins Never A Dull Moment- Review

£17.00 is a lot to pay for a cleanser in my eyes but I treated myself to this a few weeks ago when my skin was being a bit tempremental, I tried a little sample of their Zero Oil Cleanser as I thought it would best suit my skin but I wasn't overly impressed by it so I decided to be spontaneous and ordered this before even trying it and unfortunately for my bank balance I'm really liking it.
Firstly the tube is pretty big so you get quite a lot making the price tag slightly easier to accept as it should last ages. The smell is absolutely lovely, really sweet and fresh with a citrusy kick, it's packed with lots of fruit extracts and oils like; Bitter Orange, Grapefruit, Papaya and Mango as well as Rose, Eucalyptus and Pine Oil.
It feels very creamy as you apply it and doesn't really foam up until you start to wash it off, I find it foams up quite a lot once I've splashed water on my face and it can be hard to wash it all off around my hairline without leaving any foamy residue. After I've washed it all off my skin feels really soft and clean without feeling tight or uncomfortable, I wouldn't say my skin looks noticeably brightened but it does leave me with clear more even toned skin.
I'll definitely be repurchasing this when it eventually runs out despite it's slightly hefty price tag as it leaves my skin feeling deeply cleansed and refreshed.

Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator- Review

I bought this a little while ago as an after work treat and because there was a promotion for something like 20% off skincare, I had quite high hopes for this having used Sanctuaries Hot Cloth Cleanser and absolutely loving it (you can read my review of that here) but I just haven't fallen in love with the Radiance Exfoliator.
I'll start with the positives, the packaging as with all Sanctuary products is simple but effective with the green coloured lid telling you that this is part of thier range of products that aim to brighten dull skin.
The smell of the Radiance Exfoliator is kind of odd but quite pleasant, it's packed full of fruit extracts like papaya and pineapple as well as apricot granules and grape seed, which act as the exfoliating part of this face wash, so you would expect this to smell quite sweet and fruity however the other main scent in this is pumpkin which adds a warm almost spicy edge to the fruity fragrance, it's not really unpleasant just a bit odd. In application I quite like the exfoliator, it has a gel like consistency which feels a bit sticky and it is packed full of exfoliating apricot granules which feel as if they really buff your skin. I do find that the little scrubby bits can be a little stubborn and hard to wash away especially around my hairline which is slightly irritating. I thought this would leave me with soft clean feeling skin but it actually dried out my skin and left it feeling somewhat tight, I was quite disappointed and a little surprised as it takes a lot to dry out my skin, not even Lush Ocean Salt can dry out my skin.
It's going down pretty quickly so I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it as I'd be even more disappointed, I'm not saying it's a bad product it's just really not agreeing with my skin unfortunately. I will finish the tube but I won't be repurchasing this as I know there are other exfoliation more compatible with my skin .

Sunday Summary

Lush Bugsplat, Missed the postie, Trying my first OPI, Having a duvet day with Sparkie and feeling generally pathetic, Graze box number 3, Graze popcorn is absolutely delicious, Never get tired of Clueless, Painted moms nails, Had my first ever blood test and a panic attack, Naughty online purchases, Gross little jelly man, Had a Harry Potter marathon.

Well I've pretty much been a hermit for the past two weeks, the week before last I started to feel a bit run down I put it down to a cold and carried on going to work as usual and went out for lunch for Fathers Day to a Chinese then went for drinks with Pete and his dad I didn't have that much but the next day I felt awful. When the run down feeling didn't go by Tuesday morning I decided to go to the doctor as I'd also noticed parts of my neck looked and felt quite swollen, the doctor, after prodding and poking me, said it's probably Glandular Fever but I'd have to have a blood test to make sure and I mustn't drink as Glandular Fever can make your liver and spleen swollen. He told me to have the week off work which has meant I've spent this entire week at home watching dvds and taking naps as I've felt stupidly tired all the time, I left the house once to go get my blood test (they took 5 vials of blood!) so I'm starting to feel a little stir crazy.
I'm going to Tenby on Tuesday for a few days away with Pete, I'm really looking forward to it and as I'm not allowed to drink it should be a lot cheaper than usual and as it's a lot warmer than when we went in March we should be able to spend some time on the beach rather than spending all our time in the arcade.

2 NOTD's featuring OPI Euro Centrale Collection

I actually used two different nail varnishes for this but it's quite hard to tell in the photos, I used Eurso Euro* all over my nails and then sponged on  I Saw U Saw We Saw Warsaw* just near the tips to give a subtle ombre effect it's a lot more noticeable in real life but the Bourjois topcoat I used is very glossy making it harder to see the ombre in the photos.

I also painted my moms nails yesterday using other colours from the Euro Centrale Collection and I actually prefer hers to mine now.

I used Vant To Bite My Neck* all over her nails and then sponged on the uber pretty A Womans Prague-tive* over the tips, it's not the kind of colour I'd usually go for but I think it's potentially a new favourite as it is just so pretty.
