OOTD: Ain't It Fun

I wore:
Gemstone Tee- Jaded London at Topshop
Velvet Leggings- H&M
Cut Out Boots- River Island
Bracelets- Topshop
Watch- River Island

So these aren't the best photos in the world and the light was fading so they're a little dark but I really wanted to share with you this beautiful t-shirt I bought by Jaded London at Topshop, I'm really trying to wear more colour and when I saw this online I knew I had to buy it. I decided to team it with my latest favourite leggings, these lovely plum coloured velvet ones from H&M are great because they're really thick and they're quite high waisted and they are soooo comfy. Of course I also put on my current go to shoes of choice these cut out boots from River Island although they have unfortunately started to rub my ankles where the buckles are which is very annoying.
p.s. I look so young in these photos it's ridiculous, I'm starting to get very fed up of my baby face, I recently found out that most of the people I work with thought I was about 17 or 18!

Love Me Beauty- April 2014

This months Love Me Beauty box was an absolute winner to me, there was a great mix of products including 3 full size products and 2 samples, I chose Edition 3 and here's what I got:
Box Extra- £25 Gift Card for Hello Fresh
A little extra for this months box, a gift card to use at Hello Fresh which is another subscription service which sends you ingredients and recipes to make tasty healthy meals each week. To be honest this seems like a great idea but I can't see myself using it as I don't really cook that often and when I do it's much easier ti just walk down to Sainsburys.

Neal & Wolf Ritual Daily Cleansing Shampoo- Full Size £11.50
I remember my first Love Me Beauty box had two full size Neal & Wolf products and I absolutely loved them and this is no different, it smells amazing quite sweet and luxurious, it is a daily cleansing shampoo so it's very light which is perfect for my hair as it tends to get oily quickly. It does leave my hair a little more knotty than usual but once I've dragged my tangle teezer through it I'm left with shiny soft hair.

Melvita Eau Extraordinare Rose- Sample
I got this as a little extra in my box this month, I've really enjoyed other Melvita products I've tried so I'm looking forward to trying this and I love the smell of Rose Water.

Betty Hula Secret Wonder Oil- Full Size £6.25
This smells fantastic really fruity and refreshing, I've only used it a couple of times but it's left my skin feeling very soft and a little really does go a long way.

Models Own Nail Polish in Fuzzy Peach- Full Size £5
I made my choice of box this month based entirely on the Models Own products in each box and I went for Fuzzy Peach as I don't have any similar colours in my collection, it's a lovely bright peach that is perfect for the summer.

Redken Colour Extend Conditioner- Sample
Lastly we have a sample of Redken's Colour Extend Conditioner, I haven't coloured my hair since last year but I always like to try new hair care so I'm looking forward to trying this especially as it smells so fresh and fruity like cranberries.

So I was really pleased with this months box and can't wait for next months, you can subscribe to Love Me Beauty here for £10 per month.

Birchbox- April 2014

I was a little underwhelmed by this months Birchbox and am starting to consider trying a couple of different subscription boxes so if any of you know of any good ones you're subscribed to please let me know in the comments section.

Lifestyle Extra- Propercorn Sweet Coconut & Vanilla
I've actually bought Propercorn on Birchbox before when I'd saved up loads of reward points and I really enjoyed the flavours I bought, unfortunately I don't like coconut so I'm not sure I'll enjoy these as much but they're a nice little addition to the box.

Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes
I'm quite picky when it comes to face wipes and usually stick to my faithful Simple ones but I gave these a go and unfortunately they just aren't for me, they made the skin around my eyes sting a little and didn't remove half my make-up.

Color Club Gala's Gems Collection in Aquamarine Azulino
I love a new polish so I was very happy when Birchbox e-mailed subscribers and offered us the choice of four different colours from the Colour Club, I went for Aquamarine Azulino which is a beautiful pearly pale blue. I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure how opaque it is but it's such a pretty colour I'm sure it'll look great.

Campos de Ibiza Almond Body Milk
This smells gorgeous, a comforting almond scent with rosewater to give it a summery twist, I'm not normally too fussed by body moisturisers in beauty boxes but this one is actually very nice, it's also really light which is perfect for summer when my trusty Body Shop Body Butters are little too heavy.

theBalm How 'Bout Them Apples in Pie
This is really cute, the packaging is just adorable and it's the perfect size to pop in my handbag, pigment wise it's fairly pale and sheer which is nice for my cheeks as I don't like anything too bright but it's too pale to wear on my lips which is a shame as it leaves them feeling very soft.

Lord & Berry Couture Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil - Black
I used to wear pencil eye liner when I was at school but since I moved on to gel liners I haven't tried any kohl liner as I find it smudges too easily but this one has pretty good opacity so I may be tempted to give this a go once in a while.

Overall it wasn't a bad box but nothing particularly stood out to me this month, you can subscribe to Birchbox for £10.00 (+p&p) per month here.
